Orange You Glad About the New Unis?

The Charlotte Bobcats have made a bold move forward in their franchise this weekend by unveiling their team's new uniforms! Whatever. It's just something to wear. The good news is that even though they're supposedly orange, they look a little reddish to me, by which I mean to say, they don't look like Home Depot aprons. The new unis look nice.

I'm not sure why this color is called orange. Perhaps I am finally losing it. Perhaps I am going slightly mad. I do like orange, mind you -- it may be my favorite color. Certainly my favorite sport has an orange ball. It just doesn't tend to look good on players for some reason.

But these uniforms aren't bad. They're almost an optical illusion. Just when you want to say they're red, they're just a little pink and a hint of fuchsia. It's nice. It'll blind the opponents.

Maybe the uniforms will get the team an extra handful of road victories.
